A total of 14 young players from Antigua and Barbuda officially arrived in England on Sunday for an exclusive summer camp with the Steven Gerrard Academy. The players earned the opportunity following successful showings at the Calvin Ayre Foundation sponsored 2026 CAF Player ID Combine held by the Generation Next Football Club in February this year.
The players making the trip are Jaden Thomas, Thorne Braithwaite Jr., Rolando Kelly, J’Quan Shoy, Omarion Julian, Troy Jameel Baker, Nazhir Blair, Cole Garner, Tajae Samuel, Chaze Williams, Agieano Williams, Zion Ajani Philip. Two female players also made the cut, they are Ajahna Martin and Abisha Henry.
President of the Generation Next FC, Ambassador Ricky Santos, underscored the importance of the opportunity given to the young players.

Beyond elite, high-level training, this incredible experience opens crucial doors to educational scholarships and global professional scouting. As these young players step onto the international stage, they carry the pride and full support of our entire community with them”.
