They say that it takes a village to raise a child but it takes a team to give the children and other victims of Super Typhoon Yolanda a reason to smile again. Last November 21 and 22, the Sitio San Vicente in Barangay Lo-ong, Concepcion, Iloilo City became the center of medical mission and massive relief distribution of food packs and construction materials under the Calvin Ayre Foundation’s “Adopt A Village Program”.

Made up of 15 volunteers including Doctors and Nurses, the team’s relief operations began at around 10am. It is the Calvin Ayre Foundation way of responding to the needs of the Filipinos during these hard times.
